Terms and Conditions – Tarragon Catering Pty Ltd
The following terms and conditions apply to catering provisions provided by Tarragon Catering PTY LTD:
• Please call Tarragon Catering directly for confirmation of any late orders, we will endeavour to fulfil the order a late order surcharge $10 will apply.
• Corporate catering orders are available for delivery Monday – Friday from 7.15 am – 5.30 pm. Orders requested outside of these times are subject to availability and incur an out of hours surcharge of $70 per half hour. Orders requested on a SATURDAY attract a surcharge of $95 and a min order of $500 will apply. Sunday surcharge of $125 will apply and a min order of $1000 will apply.
• All orders require FULL payment via credit card prior to delivery (excluding approved corporate credit account holders. Invoices will be issued on approved trading terms.)
• A Tarragon Catering credit application needs to be requested and approved to receive account holder status for ongoing regular corporate catering orders. One-off and occasional catering requires full payment prior to delivery.
• 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of any standard drop off catering order. Charges may be apply where costs have been incurred by Tarragon Catering due to labour costs or loss of stock.
• The Minimum catering order per delivery is $80, for orders between $80 - $200 a $10 delivery fee applies, for orders over $200 in the Melbourne CBD is complimentary. For orders outside of CBD area a standard delivery fee applies based on postcode. A maximum delivery surcharge of $250 applies for some post codes based on distance this applied at the checkout in our shopping cart. All orders have the option of Store Pick Up.
• Tarragon Catering Pty Ltd reserve the right to amend prices without notice.
• All catering equipment (including platters, bowls, and serving equipment) remain the property of Tarragon Catering Pty Ltd. Any damaged equipment or non-returned items will be charged at full replacement cost.
• Tarragon Catering has an open kitchen and cannot ensure that traces of allergens like nuts, egg, dairy, gluten, etc., won't be present. We are not liable for any adverse reactions. Clients must inform us of any dietary needs, which we will accommodate if possible; otherwise, the client will be notified.
• Clients must provide the correct delivery address, instructions, and contact details when placing an order. Ensure someone is available to receive the order unless otherwise specified. Tarragon Catering will aim to deliver as close to the requested time as possible, considering traffic conditions. Cold items may be delivered up to 60 minutes early and hot items up to 15 minutes early. Tarragon Catering is not liable for delays due to accidents, construction, disasters, protests, marches, parades, rallies, strikes, criminal attacks, or extreme unforeseen traffic. If city shutdowns prevent delivery, orders may be charged at 100%.
• All prices are correct at time of printing and are quoted on current costs however these costs may vary at any time.
Due to seasonal or supplier shortages Tarragon Catering reserves the right to alter or adapt menus or services.
The latest prices are published on the Tarragon Catering online shopping cart and not on any downloadable menus or printed content.
• For orders that require onsite service staff or exceed $5,000, a deposit of 20% must be paid within one week of the delivery date. If confirmation is received one week prior to the delivery date, full payment upfront is required within 48 hours of booking. New clients are required to pay the total invoice amount at least 48 hours before the function.
• Event Cancellations made less than 7 calendar days prior to the event will result in a 100% charge for the service staff, additionally, part or all the deposit may be held by Tarragon Catering due to costs incurred due to labour and stock losses.
•Cancellation or rescheduling of a confirmed drop off order or event must be provided in writing via email.
Penalties may apply when orders have been cancelled and there were costs incurred through labour and Administration costs, ordered stock and/or food preparation; incurred costs of between 25% and 100% of the order may apply.
• The following payment options are accepted:

Refund & Credit Policy
If the goods or services received are defective or not fit for purpose, a full refund or replacement may be provided. Please note that products cannot be returned due to change of mind or incorrect choice. This replacement extends to damage caused in-transit or food not being delivered based on order requirements. Where the impact is deemed minor in nature and does not substantially impact the order or the service, a Store Credit may be offered as an alternative to a refund or replacement.
We guarantee that our goods:
- Are of acceptable quality. This means they will be safe, durable and free from defects. They will be acceptable in appearance and finish and do the job such things are usually used for.
- Match the description given to you although it may differ slightly in presentation as products are all hand-made.
Where Store Credits are offered or provided, these are.
- Not redeemable or transferable for cash
- Must be used within 3 years of issue
- Cannot be swapped or substituted for a varied service, must be used for a like to like product or offering
- Once used cannot be re-established
- Cannot be split in value, the entire credit value must be used at the one time
- Credit cannot be transferable between customers of companies
How do I contact Tarragon Catering if I feel that I am eligible for a Replacement, Refund or Credit?
Within a 24-hour time frame after the order date, email [email protected] and place in the Subject Title: Refunds or Credit and your Business Name. We welcome you to attach images explaining your questions. Please provide details about the way the goods fail to serve their purpose, or you deem not up to standard.
